Shari talks with Manisha about her new book: Money Zen: The Secret to Finding Your “Enough”. Like many of us, Manisha felt trapped in the “Cult of Never Enough”, which nearly destroyed her relationships, health, and self-esteem. She describes the four factors that cause us to feel this way and shares the Money Zen formula – financial health plus emotional wealth. Learn how to free yourself from toxic behaviors (such as wearing a “busy badge”) — and find your “enough” to create the life you’ve always dreamed of.
Manisha Thakor has worked in financial services for over 30-years. She spent the first 15 years of her career working as a buy-side equity analyst and institutional portfolio manager. She’s spent the last 15 years focused on advising individuals. She has written two personal finance books for women in their 20s and 30s. Her latest book is MoneyZen: The Secret to Finding Your “Enough”. Manisha earned her MBA from Harvard Business School, her BA from Wellesley College and holds the CFA and CFP designation.
